Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup light brown sugar packed
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons unsulfered molasses
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick cooking oats
For the cream filling
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow fluff
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon hot water
Instructions
- Preheat the panggangan to 375ºF. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter and shortening with an electric mixer until well blended. Add the sugar, beat until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition. Beat in the molasses and vanilla.
